Infant and toddler community
From birth to three years
Dr Maria Montessori believed that the foundation of the human personality is formed during the first three years of life. To support this critical period, Montessori School Bali has a dedicated classroom for several programmes in this age group.
Our infant and toddler programmes incorporate both parent and child education. Parents can acquire an understanding of the development process taking place within their child, how movement and brain development are linked, and how to facilitate their child’s growth and well-being, while children develop movement, communication, independence and self-discipline.
Baby & Me Programme
The Baby and Me programme welcomes babies as young as six weeks accompanied their parent/caregiver. Parents and teachers will discuss infant development and the Montessori approach to nurturing the child. Classes are held on Mondays from 8:30 – 11:30.
Toddler Program
Children from around 12 months (or when walking well) may attend the Toddler Community without their parents attending. Toddler Programme begins at around 12 months of age, when children come for four mornings a week, Tuesday – Fridays from 8:30 – 11:30.
Class Activity
Our Classes
Early Learning hours are from 9am to 3/3.30pm. Before School Care is available from 7.30am onwards, and After School Care is available until 6pm. At IGS, care is also available during vacation periods, from 7.30am to 6pm
