For Lidia, a school should be a place children are eager to explore, teachers are proud to work, and families feel welcome from the moment they arrive. As Principal of Montessori School Bali, she brings warmth, curiosity and over two decades of Montessori experience to making that vision part of everyday school life.

Born in Italy and raised in the south-east of France, Lidia holds a Master of Psychology from the Université de Lettres et Sciences Humaines de Nice. She earned her AMI 3–6 Diploma at the Institut Supérieur Maria Montessori in Paris in 2002 and has since completed the AMI Montessori School Leadership Certificate Course.

Her career began in the classroom in France and continued at Montessori School Bali, where she has served as a 3–6 Guide, Preschool Coordinator and Vice Principal. Those years alongside children remain at the heart of her leadership. They have taught her to notice the small moments that matter: a child trying again, a discovery shared, the growing confidence that comes with doing something independently.

Lidia’s love of beauty and creativity shapes her approach to school life, alongside a clear sense of purpose. She believes that thoughtful environments, strong relationships and meaningful work bring out the best in children and adults alike. She is committed to giving teachers the trust, support and opportunities they need to grow, while building close partnerships with families.

Fluent in English, French, Italian and Bahasa Indonesia, Lidia enjoys the conversations and connections that make an international school such a rich community.

Her hope is that everyone at Montessori School Bali feels they have something to contribute, and room to become more. With the school’s teachers, staff and families, she works to create a place full of discovery, belonging and the joy of learning.
